Professional Adventurer Chris Olsen shows rare footage from Mawson’s food depot (First sighting since 1914). Chris takes the audience on "A Journey to Antarctica" with student participation, props, Images and sounds combined with DVD footage. Chris gives details and amazing facts about Antarctica, Macquarie Island, The Antarctic Peninsula and it’s Wildlife.

The Conservation and importance of Mawson’s Hut', Commonwealth Bay 11 years on - the effects of global warming, Whaling & pollution. Chris shows the massive break up of the Mertz Glacier that he walked on in 2008. Chris also shares his own experiences, his 3 expeditions to Antarctica along with Antarctic clothing, rocks, equipment and tent with an ice axe demonstration finale!
